Chen Hong,born in March 1961,is a member of the CPC with a bachelor's degree in engineering. He is a senior engineer (professor) and economist,and now the Party secretary and chairman of SAIC Motor. He has been a vice-president at the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (Group) and general manager at Shanghai General Motors Co. He also served as president and deputy Party secretary at SAIC Motor; deputy chairman and deputy Party secretary at the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (Group); Party secretary,president and deputy chairman at SAIC Motor.
Chen Zhixin, born in May 1959, is board director, president and deputy Party secretary of SAIC Motor. Previously, he served as vice-president of Shanghai Automotive Industry (Group) Corp and later vice-resident and executive vice-president of SAIC Motor. He was general manager at SAIC Passenger Vehicle Co, Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co, Shanghai SAIC-Volkswagen Sales Co and Nanjing Automobile (Group) Corp, respectively.
Tao Xinliang, male, professor, born in July 1950, is an independent director of SAIC Motor and the chairman of Shanghai Management Sciences. He is a CPC member and holds a master's degree in economics. He had been a section chief, deputy director of the research department, and patent office deputy director, director of Shanghai University of Technology; deputy dean of the humanities school of the Shanghai University of Technology; deputy dean, executive deputy dean, and dean of the Intellectual Property Institute of Shanghai University; dean of the School of Laws of Shanghai University and head of the Intellectural Property Institute ofTongji University. He is cureently the dean of Dalian University of Technology's School of intellectual property and honoray dean of the intellectual property school of Shanghai University.
Li Ruoshan, male, born in February 1949, serves as independent board director of SAIC Motor, and as a member of the CPC. With a doctorate in auditing, he is also an academic director of the Master of Accountancy Department, Management School of Fudan University, vice chairman of Shanghai Accounting Society, vice chairman of Shanghai Auditing Society, and a member of Shanghai SASAC Budget Committee. His previous roles include being vice president of the School of Economics of Xiamen University, vice president of School of Management of Fudan University, the director of Accounting and Finance departments, and independent board of CPIC and Sinochem.
Zhong Lixin, born in July 1963, serves as board director, chairman of the trade union and director of the Party committee office of SAIC Motor.He used to be secretary of the general office of the Shanghai municipal government; assistant to the president of the Shanghai Automotive Industry (Group) Corp; assistant to the president, director of the president's office and chairman of the trade union of the SAIC Motor Corp.
